Kamena Vourla is not only known for resort but is also famous for its thermal springs (Kuniaviti Baths) which are located very close to the town, at the foot of Knimis mount. They gush from the foot of the mountain and all have a constant chemical composition, but different temperature. There is the hydrothiochloric sodium and radium spring and the cosmetic spring of Aphrodite, which contains colloidal sulfur. Their healing abilities seem to relieve those suffering from chronic rheumatism, deforming arthritis, gynecological and vascular diseases, skin diseases, asthma, bronchitis, chronic rhinitis, etc.
